Franny Silverman is a professional theatre artist and professional Jew.  She has created and performed new work for stage and ritual settings around the country. Franny is the Director of Youth Education for Brooklyn’s progressive synagogue, Kolot Chayeinu, and is a contributing blogger for Shma Journal’s SBlog.  Wearing both artist and educator hats, Franny creates and facilitates rituals and Jewish learning experiences for humans of all ages, exemplified by her interactive seder installation, UnSeder|DisOrder, presented by Chashama’s “Process is Fundamental.”  She lives with her family in Brooklyn, and even as a double-decade vegetarian, occasionally still craves her Bubbie’s chopped liver.
