Leah Koenig is a writer and cookbook author who’s work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Saveur, Food Arts, CHOW, Modern Farmer, Time Out New York, Tablet, and The Forward. Leah’s first cookbook, The Hadassah Everyday Cookbook: Daily Meals for the Contemporary Jewish Kitchen, was published by Rizzoli in 2011. Her second cookbook, The Modern Jewish Kitchen, will be released in 2015 by Chronicle. Prior to writing, Leah worked at Hazon for five years, where she ran their Jewish Community Supported Agriculture program, organized the first Hazon Food Conference, and edited The Jew & The Carrot blog.
